We’re loving sweet Caitlin’s classic bridal images from before her May wedding, taken at the Ballantyne Country Club! Caitlin incorporated a very unique element, the dress itself! Caitlin wore her grandmother’s wedding dress on her big day and wanted elegant bridal images to capture the beautiful and sentimental facets of the gown. The dress was absolutely perfect on her 🙂 She looks like a disney princess in it! We even recreated her grandmother’s bridal portrait pose on the stairs inside Ballantyne’s gorgeous main hall. We also loved Caitlin’s bouquet of blush peonies and anemones with navy centers incorporated her wedding-colors beautifully. Enjoy a few of our favorites from Caitlin’s bridal portraits.
We knew from the moment we met Emilio and Sharon at the Brakefield Bridal Bazaar this past fall that they were just our kind of couple! They were very sweet, and we connected so well with them so we were absolutely ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with them as their photographers. When they told us about their vintage inspiration for their engagement images, we were over the moon! It’s always great to shoot a portrait session when our clients come into it with a solid vision- not necessarily a list of photos they like that they want replicated, or even a lack thereof… but an idea inspired by the things they love that directs the location, wardrobe, styling and props that go into creating a set of images that is truly unique to the couple and their relationship. Sharon had moved down to the Carolinas with Emilio to be with him, so they wanted to do the session at a train station to symbolize the journey they made together. Their wedding was designed around a vintage, old-hollywood glamour theme, so they dressed in vintage-esque wardrobe and we brought vintage luggage and a few accessories to complete the look they wanted. All in all, the elements came together for a series of images we’re really excited to share!
Be sure to check out Sharon and Emilio’s engagement slide-show at the bottom of this post; we incorporated a couple of stop-motion series. Super cute! Enjoy Sharon and Emilio’s vintage, train-station engagements!
We’re SO excited to post Frank and Dana’s wedding to the blog today! This couple was a dream to work with. They told us at our initial consultation with them that we were hired! We always love working with people who are confident in our work and who we connect with so well. Their engagement session was beautiful- Frank and Dana were so natural and comfortable with each other and their images were stunning. We knew then that their wedding was going to be something special and that their wedding images were going to be a blast to capture! They assembled an amazing team of vendors to help them achieve their beautiful wedding-day vision, and their celebration was absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy a bunch of our favorites from Frank & Dana’s wedding, and see a complete list of their vendors at the bottom of the post!
