We are so excited to finally be able to share Meagan’s bridal portraits with the world on our blog tonight! She is safely down the aisle and married to her prince, Jim. For her bridal session we actually did a few studio shots at our studio-office in NoDa before heading down the street to a venue we’d been dying to shoot at: McGill Rose Garden! Since we were shooting her bridals in May, everything was in bloom and the entire garden was beyond gorgeous. Meagan’s beautiful gown from J. Majors’ Bridal Boutique was accented perfectly by the romantic garden setting and Meagan looked absolutely picturesque surrounded by all of the spring blooms! And with Meagan having been a dancer all her life, she was the portrait of grace in her gown. Enjoy a few of our favorites from Meagan’s McGill Rose Garden bridal session!
Sara and Christopher first met years ago at Carolina Cup while they were in college. They’ve been together ever since, even long-distance while Sara lived in many different cities while studying to be an optometrist. Now they’re tying the knot, back at the spot where it all began- the National Steeplechase Museum where the Carolina Cup is hosted every year! We took their engagement images back in March and unfortunately it stormed the day we had scheduled for the session 🙁 We decided to go for it and brave the rain, and thankfully found a tented area under which to set up Sara and Christopher’s styled tailgate table and park Christopher’s old wagon! The images turned out great despite the less-than-desirable weather, and we couldn’t be more excited for Christopher and Sara’s rustic National Steeplechase Museum wedding in Camden, SC! Enjoy a few of our favorites from Christopher and Sara’s engagement session!
Chris and Kelsey’s engagement session is one that is long overdue to be posted on our blog! We loved this session, and this couple! And we especially loved our very first visit to The Ivy Place– it has to be one of our new favorite venues in the Charlotte area. Chris and Kelsey chose it as the location for their wedding and we can see why! The historic home has gorgeous, as is the surrounding property with its expansive fields, beautiful gardens and rustic old barns! We loved all of the personality these two chose to infuse into their session- from their love of the Atlanta Braves to the sweet picnic details they used to style their session, they really made these images their own! Check out a few of our favorites from Chris and Kesley’s engagement session at The Ivy Place!
