So excited to get to show off Sweet Caroline’s lovely bridal portraits on the blog today! This gorgeous girl is married, which means we can finally reveal her bridal look to the world. I knew right off the bat when I met Caroline that her classic taste would lead to a beautiful, timeless gown and a stunning location for her portraits… and she did not disappoint! We photographed Caroline’s bridals at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, a venue Caroline had considered for her wedding. She loved the black-and-white marble floor, the colonial trim on the walls, and the white, bridal aesthetic of this historic home. It was the perfect backdrop for her satin, A-line gown and lace topper. The house and its gardens were absolutely lovely at sunset and Caroline glowed for these portraits. Perfect hair and makeup by Emily Paige and bouquet by Carey Roberts Design Co. certainly didn’t hurt either! We had fun taking them and we can’t wait to show off her equally beautiful wedding images soon. Enjoy a few of our favorites from Caroline’s bridal session!
Sweet Cynthia! I’m beyond thrilled by these bridal portraits we captured of her at The Ivy Place about 6 weeks before her wedding day. She was an absolute vision in that gown, and the hair, makeup by Erin Ashley, flowers and jewelry all complimented her natural beauty perfectly! We had to reschedule this session once due to rain, and on then on our plan-B day, literally on our way to the venue, even though skies were bright and sunny, we saw raindrops on our windshield! I was so worried we’d be rained out again… It poured for about 5 minutes while Cynthia donned her dress, and we had to wait patiently for a few minutes but the rain cleared up quickly and we stayed nice in dry in some lovely sun for the rest of the session! It paid off, too… because this bridal was worth capturing! Check out a few of our favorites of Cynthia, below!
About 3 weeks before her wedding, I jaunted down to Anderson, South Carolina to capture Chelsea’s bridal portraits at her parents’ absolutely gorgeous Victorian family home! Even in the middle of renovations, there were a few gorgeous architectural spaces that were beautifully cleared out that made the perfect backdrop for these lovely portraits. Chelsea’s stylish taste of classic mixed with high-fashion led her to this perfectly stunning gown by BERTA. It fit her like a glove, and as soon as it was fastened she radiated the joyful anticipation that only a bride can possess. Her wedding day was magical and we’re so excited to finally be able to share these bridals! Enjoy a few of our favorites of Chelsea’s bridal portraits.
