We photographed Amanda’s gorgeous bridal portraits around the campus of Winthrop University: the place where she met her now-husband Adam, and also the place where she graduated first in her class with her Bachelors! Amanda is a dancer, so we made sure to take lots of shots in and around the visual and performing arts buildings, but really… there are not a whole lot of bad places to shoot on Winthrop’s campus! It’s so historic and beautiful, everywhere you turn there’s another gorgeous spot! We didn’t have to travel far to get some lovely shots, and of course Amanda made a beautiful bride which made our job all the more fun. We absolutely adored our time shooting Challie’s bridal session the month before her wedding day! This gorgeous set of bridal portraits took place at Hightower Hall in Historic Brattonsville, South Carolina! Her lovely dress was a stunning match to the scenery and decor of Hightower Hall, and Challie’s contagious joy and anticipation of her big day made her a dream to photograph. Perhaps one of the most unique moments in bridal-portrait history occurred when, at the end of the session, Challie asked “there’s a wall in the house with a collage of a bunch of photos of sheep. I’d really like a photo of me with that wall!” Haha. Of course we had to make that happen 😉 We love it when brides take advantage of their bridal sessions as an opportunity to let their sweet personalities shine through. And Challie’s personality is quite possibly one of the sweetest ever! Enjoy a few of our favorites from Challie’s bridal portrait session at Hightower Hall!
