hightower hall bride | challie

We absolutely adored our time shooting Challie’s bridal session the month before her wedding day! This¬†gorgeous set of bridal portraits took place at Hightower Hall in Historic Brattonsville, South Carolina! Her lovely dress was a stunning match to the scenery and decor of Hightower Hall, and Challie’s contagious joy and anticipation of her big day made her a dream to photograph. Perhaps one of the most unique moments in bridal-portrait history occurred when, at the end of the session, Challie asked “there’s a wall in the house with a collage of a bunch of photos of sheep. I’d really like a photo of me with that wall!” Haha. Of course we had to make that happen ūüėČ We love it when brides take advantage of¬†their bridal sessions as an opportunity to let their sweet personalities shine through. And Challie’s personality is quite possibly one of the sweetest ever! Enjoy a few of our favorites from Challie’s bridal portrait session at Hightower Hall!

Sweet Laura… you were a beautiful ¬†bride and an even more beautiful person! Capturing such a special time in your life was an honor and an absolute blast. We adore you!

lace house bridals | leslie

Sweet Leslie. We’re at a loss for words to describe you… This girl is just one of the sweetest ever! Not only¬†does she have such a sweet spirit, but she has a darling personality. Leslie is one of the most petite little ladies you will ever meet, but she did not let that stop her from dressing like the grown-up that she is for her wedding look. She rocked a full ball-gown, custom heels and a vintage head-dress! She was a show-stopper for sure. We photographed her bridal portraits at The Lace House at the Governor’s Mansion in Columbia, SC. It was such a lovely venue- definitely on our list from now on of favorite¬†bridal portrait locations! The extraordinary Katie Cotton of Cotton Rouge dolled Leslie up for both her bridal portraits AND her wedding day, and she did a fabulous job, as you can tell. Even though we had a blast capturing these portraits of Leslie, our favorite part was the email we received from her after she’d had a chance to view them for the first time: “I was so stunned with my portraits, I am absolutely in love with all of them! I showed all the girls in my bridal party to help me pick which one… was such an experience looking at all of these! I had no idea I could look like that!” We love you, Leslie! Emails like that are¬†what keeps us going in this business when the inevitable, occasional bridezilla pops up ūüėČ Enjoy a few of our favorites from Leslie’s bridal portrait session!
