A location can make or break a portrait session sometimes. This rule of thumb is why we were thrilled when Brittany picked Wing Haven Garden in Charlotte for her bridal session! This venue has absolutely endless possibilities for gorgeous shots, especially when you have a subject this stunning. Not only is Brittany beautiful (inside and out), but her dress (Casablanca from Mecklenburg Bridal), her veil, her hair and makeup (Salon Naman), and even her gorgeous flowers (Willow Floral Boutique) were perfectly tailored factors for a lovely set of images. Enjoy a few of our faves from Brittany’s bridal session at Wing Haven!
This was our first time ever having the pleasure of shooting at Wing Haven Gardens in Charlotte. And who better to pose for our inaugural Wing Haven session than Brian’s lovely sister, Kailagh! Her wedding to her now-husband, Darko, was originally set for June of 2014 in Europe… until they discovered that immigration issues would prevent them from marrying internationally! Kailagh and Darko found out only 3 months prior to their wedding date that they’d be planning a wedding state-side, and with the rushed planning, we didn’t find time to photograph Kailagh’s bridal portraits until the week before their wedding! We weren’t able to shoot during the perfect time of day, and I actually did Kailagh’s hair for the session- and yet no sub-par circumstance on the planet can keep Kailagh from looking like the most perfect bride! She glowed in her dream gown, and we’re thrilled to be able to share her bridal portraits.
